What awaits us in the Year of the Green Dragon, and what lies ahead in the next 20 years?
Each year is ruled by an animal and one of the five elements of nature (wood, fire, earth, metal, and water). On February 10, 2024, the Lunar New Year will usher in the Green Dragon, and the Water Rabbit of 2023 will relinquish its reign and depart. Flying Star Feng Shui studies the energetic influences of the movement of stars, and this method states that this is the year of Thunder. Meanwhile, Earthly energy tells us that it is 3 Wood.
There are two types of energy, or Qi: tangible qi and intangible Qi. The tangible can be understood as House Gold Money, a term that refers to physical forms of wealth such as paper currency or metal. Intangible Qi includes cryptocurrency, virtual reality, and money on a card or in a virtual bank account.
According to Feng Shui, there is a 20-year Flying Star that is superior to the annual energy. There are also cycles of 60 years, 180 years, and 720 years. Right now, we are witnessing the end of the Earth 20-year cycle (2004–2024), which brought tangible things such as real estate, paper money, and gold. The Fire Flying Star (2024–2044) will begin to rule the next era, bringing a focus to the intangible.
We are entering a time of joy and courage where new experiences are welcomed and embraced. To put it short, it is a quick change of direction in the way that people think. Fast-paced technological advancements will revolutionize how the market functions, for example, the need for paper currency may become obsolete during this time. A shift in cryptocurrency may cause the weaker ones to end and the stronger ones to stay. With these developments, virtual reality will be on a rapid rise. Apple, Meta, and devices with VR/AR capabilities will be at the forefront along with closely related technology such as AI.
